Allen Builders and Landscape was founded in 1997 by Matthew Allen, starting with just one truck and an abundance of ambition, determination, and pride in hard work. Matthew’s passion for building & landscaping began close to home and grew during his teenage years as he apprenticed with local companies each summer. After graduating high school, he turned that passion into a business of his own laying the foundation for what Allen Builders and Landscape is today.
IIn 2003, Matthew married the love of his life, Charmaine, and became a father to her two young daughters. Charmaine later joined the company as Matthew’s business partner, helping guide the growth and direction of the company. After serving their country in the military, completing college, and starting families of their own, Matthew’s daughters became actively involved in the family business—continuing a legacy built on dedication, service, and teamwork.
Our headquarters is deeply rooted in family history and community pride. The property where our displays now stand was once home to Brad’s Fruit Stand, a beloved local landmark established in 1968 by Matthew’s Uncle Brad. Despite battling Multiple Sclerosis, Brad found joy in the outdoors and especially loved fishing. As his illness progressed, his parents took over the fruit stand, which continued serving the community for nearly 30 years. Today, the original “Brad’s Fruit Stand” sign still hangs proudly as a tribute to the foundation, values, and family spirit that came before us.
For decades, Matthew has remained the face, heart, and driving force behind Allen Builders and Landscape. While his influence continues, the company has grown —expanding our team, equipment, and capabilities to better serve our customers.
We are proud to be actively involved in both local community initiatives and national efforts that support the progress and preservation of our country. As our business evolved, Allen Builders and Landscape expanded into outdoor living retail, offering full delivery and installation services. We now partner with the Amish to provide high‑quality, American‑made outdoor structures, handcrafted with exceptional attention to detail and built to last.
At our core, we remain a family‑owned business committed to quality craftsmanship, honest work, and helping our customers bring their visions to life.
